Peter really never did let his disability affect his wicked sense of humour. I can honestly say every time I have walked into see Peter I have spent at least half of the time laughing.
He would always be winding me up about something, whether it be mimicking my very squeaky voice, or sticking his 2 fingers up at me out of the window.
All of the laughter we had aside though Peter was such a kind man as well and although I was there as one of the carers I never just felt like a carer to Peter. I have grown to love Peter and Murial as if they're my own flesh and blood. I just feel so privileged to be a part of such a special team in Peter, Muriel and the girls. The word team doesn't do the bond we have all built justice really. we are a family we've all seen each other at our best and worst, highs and lows, and I just want to say thank you Peter for being a part of and bringing me my second family.
You will always hold such a special place in my heart. I'm going to miss you so much and hope your bellies doing okay for spot's up there
